New CEOs named for Marsh, Guy Carpenter

Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc. announced changes to its executive committee, effective Jan. 1, 2022.

Marsh LLC President and CEO John Doyle was promoted to group president and COO of Marsh McLennan; he will continue to serve as vice chair of the company. At Marsh, he is being succeeded by Martin South, president of Marsh U.S. and Canada. South was also appointed vice chair of Marsh McLennan.

Marsh appointed Pat Donnelly, currently head of Marsh Specialty for Marsh U.S. and Canada, as president of Marsh U.S. and Canada, succeeding South.

Dean Klisura, president of Guy Carpenter & Co. LLC, was hired as president and CEO, succeeding Peter Hearn. Klisura was also appointed vice chair of Marsh McLennan and will succeed Hearn on Marsh McLennan's executive committee.

Peter Hearn, currently CEO of Guy Carpenter, will continue in his role as vice chair of Marsh McLennan.

Dominic Burke, who is vice chair of Marsh McLennan, will retire in mid-January.
