Netflix launches mobile plan in the Philippines, Thailand

Netflix Inc. rolled out its mobile-only plan in the Philippines and Thailand.

The streaming provider said the tier, worth 149 Philippine pesos per month, will allow users to watch content on one device at a time in standard definition.

In Thailand, a monthly subscription to the mobile plan will cost 99 baht, Engadget reported, citing a tweet by Netflix Thailand.

Netflix earlier launched its mobile streaming tier in India, Malaysia and Indonesia. The streaming provider is also reportedly testing the plan in Poland.

As of March 11, US$1 was equivalent to 50.60 Philippine pesos and 31.45 Thai baht.
