Mission Broadcasting to buy certain assets of Marshall Broadcasting TV stations

Nexstar Media Group Inc.'s consolidated company Mission Broadcasting Inc. on March 30 agreed to acquire certain assets of three television stations owned by Marshall Broadcasting Group Inc.

The deal for the acquisition of KMSS, KPEJ and KLJB is valued at about $49 million, according to an April 6 Form 8-K filing.

The transaction is expected to be completed this year, subject to U.S. Federal Communications Commission and customary approvals.

KMSS serves Shreveport, La.; KPEJ serves Odessa, Texas; and KLJB serves Davenport, Iowa.
