Legal & General unit, Civil Aviation Authority Pension Scheme agree £110M buy-in

Legal & General Group PLC unit Legal & General Assurance Society Ltd. agreed an approximately £110 million buy-in transaction with the CAA section of the Civil Aviation Authority Pension Scheme.

The transaction has been established as an umbrella contract to facilitate future transactions.

Aon advised the trustee of the scheme on the transaction, while legal advice was provided by Reed Smith. CMS provided legal advice to Legal & General.
