Jan Haglund is stepping down as CEO of Norway-based Komplett Bank ASA and is expected to vacate the post by the end of the second quarter.
The board of directors will initiate the search process to find Haglund's replacement, Komplett Bank said Feb. 1.
Haglund is leaving the bank to become CEO of Sweden-based credit card operator Entercard Group AB
In a separate statement, Entercard said CEO Freddy Syversen will retire from the role when Haglund joins the company. Syversen, however, will continue working for Entercard as a senior adviser for the board and the new CEO throughout 2021.
Haglund's start at Entercard, a joint venture between Swedbank AB (publ) and Barclays PLC unit Barclays Principal Investments Ltd., has yet to be finalized.
