* JPMorgan Chase & Co. appointed Anton Denisov a senior banker at its Zurich office, while Vladimir Samarin will join the bank's wealth management team in London, Reuters reported Oct. 5, citing an internal memo. Denisov was Credit Suisse's senior relationship manager for ultra-rich clients in emerging markets and Samarin served as head of investment banking for Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States at JPMorgan
Credit Suisse Group
* Credit Suisse Group AG named Chris Williams vice chairman of its financial institutions group investment bank, Reuters reported Oct. 6, citing a bank spokesman. Williams will rejoin the Swiss bank in October, five years after leaving for Perella Weinberg Partners.
He will focus on Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and report to Alejandro Przygoda, the global head of FIG investment banking, and Henrik Aslaksen, who is an executive chairman of capital markets and advisory.
BNP Paribas
* A team of 11 BNP Paribas SA private bankers are leaving its Russian desk to join other companies, finews.com reported Oct. 5, citing a source familiar with the matter. Among the bankers, Gabriel Vaduva and Frederic Justes are set to join Goldman Sachs Group Inc., the source said, while the majority of them, led by Nonna Oushenina, are leaving for Credit Suisse.
Vontobel
* Switzerland-based Vontobel Holding AG named Stefano Sala its head of wealth management for Italian-speaking Switzerland. The appointment of Sala, who joins from Credit Suisse, took effect immediately, finews.com reported Oct. 5, citing an emailed statement from the bank. He will report to Gianpiero Galasso.

* Lise Kaae resigned from Svenska Handelsbanken AB (publ)'s board of directors, effective immediately. The move is aimed at avoiding a conflict of interest at the company.
