Italian towers operator Infrastrutture Wireless Italiane SpA named Emanuele Tournon chairman and Giovanni Ferigo CEO.
The company also appointed Diego Galli CFO.
INWIT also elected Tournon, Ferigo and 11 others to its board after merging Telecom Italia SpA and Vodafone Group PLC's Italian tower assets into the company. The merger took effect March 31.
Following the deal, Telecom Italia and Vodafone unit Vodafone Europe BV will each hold a 37.5% stake of INWIT's share capital.
INWIT will pay the previously approved extraordinary dividend of about €570 million on April 8. The dividend will be subject to tax.
