Haemonetics closes sale of blood donor software unit to PE firm Abénex

Haemonetics Corp. completed the sale of its medical technology unit Inlog Holdings France SAS to private equity firm Abénex Capital SA.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

France-based Abénex now owns Inlog's management software for blood banks and hospitals, including the EdgeSuite package and SapaNet.

Haemonetics President and CEO Chris Simon previously said the divestiture of the unit is to help shift the company's portfolio toward the market segments where it sees growth.
