Greenhill & Co. founder to retire from board

Greenhill & Co. Inc. founder and Chairman Emeritus Robert Greenhill will retire from the company's board at the end of his current term and does not plan to stand for reelection at the company's annual stockholders meeting on April 27.

Robert Greenhill served as the company's chairman from 1996 to 2018 and as CEO from 1996 to 2007. He will remain chairman emeritus and senior adviser to the company.

Independent director Steven Goldstone will also retire at the end of his current term and will not stand for reelection. He has been on the board since 2004 and became lead independent director in 2016.

After Goldstone's retirement, John Liu will serve as lead independent director.
