Dhaka Stock Exchange seeks to resume trading

The Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. board agreed to resume trading May 10 after a 46-day suspension, The Financial Express reported April 30, quoting Minhaz Mannan Emon, who sits on the exchange's board.

The bourse will reopen after it gets the green light from the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission, Emon added.

The Bangladesh-based exchange, along with the Chittagong Stock Exchange, has been closed since March 26 in line with measures to curb the spread of the new coronavirus.
