CVS Health Corp. appointed the company's executive vice president Karen Lynch as President and CEO effective February 2021.

Daniel Finke will succeed Lynch in her previous role and also become president of the company's health care benefits segment in the same month, according to a news release.

Finke leads the commercial business and markets organization at Aetna Inc. — a unit of CVS Health that operates as a health care benefits company. He will report directly to Lynch and will be a member of CVS Health's executive team.
