Citi reshuffles equities trading desk – Bloomberg

Citigroup Inc. reorganized its equities division with a goal of securing a top-four position in equities trading league table rankings within two to three years, Bloomberg News reported Dec. 1, citing an internal memo.

In the memo, Head of Equities and Securities Services Fater Belbachir said Global Head of Equity Sales Antonin Jullier will step down to pursue other opportunities. Subsequently, the bank named Julia Raiskin to lead equities sales for the Asia-Pacific region; Dirk Keijer to lead efforts for Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and Cedric Pauwels to oversee the Americas.

Raiskin will also lead cash and derivatives equities trading for the Asia-Pacific region, while Peter Lambrakis will do the same in the Americas on an interim basis. Global Head of Derivatives David Haldane will add leadership of cash and derivatives equities trading to his existing responsibilities.

Quentin Andre and Eduardo Martinez Campos will co-lead sales for the firm's global multi-asset group, and Andre will also lead sales for global derivatives and delta one.

Steve Roti will lead sales for the structured equity solutions unit. Ashley Matteo will oversee global in-business risk. Rob Pitcher will lead the risk architecture and product platform for derivatives and the delta one business.

In addition, the New York-based lender promoted managing directors Susan Manuelle and Niraj Shah to co-heads of North America industrials coverage, effective later in December.
