Dublin, Calif.-based Chabot FCU plans to merge with Los Angeles-based University CU, according to a press release posted on CUInsight.com.
The merger, on which Chabot FCU members will have the opportunity to vote by Sept. 14, is expected to be finalized by the fourth quarter.
As of June 30, Chabot FCU had assets of about $74.0 million, while University CU had assets of about $920.1 million, according to S&P Global Market Intelligence data.
