CBRE aims to lower greenhouse gas emissions at global operations 68% by 2035

CBRE Group Inc. received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative for its commitment to lower its scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions 68% by 2035 from the 2019 base year at its global operations.

For the same time frame, the global commercial real estate services and investment firm also committed to cut emissions by 79% per square foot in facilities it manages for global occupiers and by 67% per square foot in properties it manages for investors around the world. It aims to meet these scope 3 targets at its nearly 7 billion square feet of managed corporate facilities and commercial properties across the globe by partnering with its global workplace solutions and property management clients.

CBRE committed to achieving 100% renewable electricity by 2025 and to switch its vehicle fleet to electric vehicles.
