​Banco Bradesco SA unit BITZ Serviços Financeiros SA has acquired digital payment solutions firm 4ward Serviços e Comércio de Equipamentos Ltda. for an undisclosed amount, Valor Econômico reported.

4ward, which was founded in 2013, offers several services, including commercial and financial management automation, payment security and risk analysis.

This is the second purchase of BITZ, following the acquisition of financial technology company DinDin in October.

Bradesco launched BITZ as a digital payment platform in September, with a 100 million reais investment in its first year of operation. BITZ CEO Curt Zimmermann said at the time that the company was studying two acquisitions within the digital payments sphere.

As of Dec. 8, US$1 was equivalent to 5.07 Brazilian reais.
