Raphael Zindi is the Global Head of Insurance Solutions, at S&P Global Market Intelligence – with a commercial and product management background. In this role, Raphael helps drive the insurance strategic initiatives, validates future demands and client engagements for the Cross Product Market Development Team. Prior to joining the firm in 2020, Raphael held a senior client development role at the insurtech, Cytora. And was the Senior Commercial and Relationship Lead covering for Insurance at Fitch Solutions since 2015 – responsible for driving double digit new business sales and account management growth. He was also responsible for driving thought leadership and value propositions for the internal stakeholders focused on the insurance market. Raphael is an experienced contributor, speaker and mentor across a number of industry leading associations and groups. Before entering the broking sector, David worked as an equity analyst at Merrill Lynch covering European insurance. David began his career in securities trading and investment management. David has been a regular presenter at various industry forums, and he has been frequently published on several topics in the reinsurance business.

She has had a variety of industry roles across business controlling, business development, sales, underwriting, and strategy. Lucy Stanbrough MSc, BSc, is the Head of Emerging Risks Research at the Willis Research Network, and Chair of the ClimateWise Managing Committee for the insurance industry. Prior to joining the Research Network, she worked for the Innovation team at Lloyd’s on a range of thought leadership projects and market communities, including: cyber scenarios; virtual reality; NewSpace; city resilience; synthetic biology; climate related risks and disaster risk finance.

Before joining the insurance industry Lucy spent over 10 years as a natural hazards and GIS consultant, alongside working at the UCL Hazard Centre. Lucy has contributed to a number of books on the use of technology and online systems pre, during, and post-disaster.
