A growing number of Governments within Eastern Europe are expecting financial institutions to report their climate-related risk on a mandatory rather than voluntary basis. While numerous climate risk reporting frameworks exist, the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) has quickly become the gold standard endorsed by policy makers.
The TCFD has provided supplementary guidance for financial institutions to make additional disclosures in their reporting. Organizations that want to comply will now need to report on a number of metrics across their investment portfolios and loan books
