Agatha Poon is Senior Research Analyst for Asia-Pacific Services at 451 Research, a part of S&P Global Market Intelligence. She joined 451 Research in April 2010, bringing more than 15 years of experience as a market research professional and expertise in cloud computing and business transformation strategies. She is instrumental in providing support for advisory service engagements and leads the research program in the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on cloud services and digital strategies.
Prior to joining 451 Research in April 2010, Agatha was a Senior Analyst at Yankee Group for more than 10 years, tracking a wide range of research topics including managed services, IP telephony, WAN optimization, application acceleration, cloud computing deployment models and cloud management solutions. Before Yankee Group, she worked as a Research Analyst in Frost & Sullivan's Telecommunications Service group, where she primarily focused on network access technologies. Agatha has a high degree of familiarity with the Greater China and Japanese markets, having spent time in these areas during her career.
Agatha has been a regular speaker at numerous professional gatherings and industry events, including CommunicAsia, Cloud Expo Asia, Cloud Tech Forum, Cloud Connect China, and HostingCon Global.
