Rockbridge sells GSTV; Ares acquires Epika

– Rockbridge Growth Equity LLC sold gas station fuel pump video network GSTV, the doing-business name of Destination Media Inc., to MidOcean US Advisor LP. Rockbridge retained a minority stake in GSTV. Moelis & Co. LLC and Solomon Partners were financial advisers to GSTV. Honigman was legal adviser to Rockbridge and GSTV. Gibson Dunn was legal adviser to MidOcean.

– Ares Management LLC acquired commercial trucking fleet maintenance and repair business Epika Fleet Services Inc. from Trivest Partners LP. William Blair was financial adviser and Reed Smith LLP and Maslon LLP were legal advisers to Epika. Piper Sandler was financial adviser and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP was legal adviser to Ares.

– Argand Partners LP acquired dancewear manufacturer Ballet Makers Inc., doing business as Capezio. Meriwether Group was financial adviser to Capezio. Alta Capital Partners was financial adviser to Argand.

– TPG Inc. and Temasek Holdings (Pvt.) Ltd. acquired a minority stake in alternative investment adviser Cliffwater LLC, a TA Associates Management LP portfolio company. TA retained a majority stake in the business. Moelis & Co. LLC was financial adviser and Kirkland & Ellis LLP was legal adviser to Cliffwater. J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Ardea Partners LP were financial advisers and Davis Polk was legal adviser to TPG. Goodwin Proctor LLP was legal adviser to TA.
