Global Head of Business Risk & Compliance - S&P Global Sustainable1
Batool Hussain currently leads the Business Risk & Compliance team within Sustinable1, overseeing risk, governance, and controls with a key focus on establishing best practices, and ensuring a fit-for-purpose Risk and Compliance program.
Batool joined S&P Global in 2014 and became part of the central ESG team in January 2020, before the establishment of Sustainable1. Batool previously led the Data Operations Risk & Compliance team for S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Batool held several roles within the Data/Content organization at Thomson Reuters and held the position of Head of Product Content Testing. She has extensive experience working in the financial services vertical with a background in the risk, compliance, program management, quality, operations strategy, and product support areas.
Batool has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from The College of Wooster, Ohio. She holds a GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) certification and is also a Certified SAFe 5 Agilist.
