Prior to joining S&P, Lauren was a member of the board and senior management team of Trucost, a pioneering environmental economics business. She was instrumental in growing the business from start-up to its market leading position which included her integral involvement in major market innovations such as developing the world’s first portfolio carbon footprint. Lauren was part of the board team that sold Trucost to S&P Dow Jones Indices in 2016 and led the commercial integration of the Trucost business into S&P Global Market Intelligence in 2018, before being selected to be part of the core start up leadership team for the Sustainable1 business in 2020.
Prior to Trucost, Lauren worked in equity research in the fund management industry and at the UK Government’s Department for International Development working on the Millennium Development Goals. Lauren is passionate about entrepreneurship for impact, art, social history and conservation. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts and a trustee of the Sumatran Orangutan Society. Lauren holds a BA & MA from Cambridge University in Archaeology & Anthropology and an MSc in Anthropology & International Development from the London School of Economics.

Dr. Warrick Fuchsloch is a senior client engagement specialist at S&P Global Sustinable1. Acting as a subject matter expert, Warrick specialises in assisting clients in implementing sustainability initiatives, themes, and data within their workflows and benchmarking to mitigate ESG risks, address regulations, and enhance their sustainability strategies. Previously, Warrick was an ESG analyst with a materials and mining sector focus where he specialised in methodology development, analysis, and evaluation of financially material sustainability themes within the Corporate Sustainability Assessment. Prior to joining S&P, Warrick spent several years with LSE-based AfriTin Mining Ltd, over which time they built a world-class Lithium-Tin-Tantalum mine in Namibia, where Warrick was attributed to exploration, process engineering, social and environmental management and oversaw most of the company’s future project development goals throughout Africa. Warrick holds a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of the Witwatersrand where he researched and published articles on the orogenesis of transition metals and commodities and their value toward a climate-focused future. Thomas Yagel is the Chief Operating and Product Officer for S&P Global Sustainable1. In this role, he is responsible for setting strategy and leading key initiatives across ESG Technology, Content, Research, Solutions and Product. Prior to taking the position with Sustainable1 in 2021, Thomas led the Corporates business within Market Intelligence for six years, helping to double it during his tenure. At Market Intelligence, his teams were responsible for products such as TMT/451 Research, Commodities, Supply Chain/Panjiva, as well as critical go-to-markets like ESG and Digital Transformation for corporates segments.
Thomas has an extensive background in both finance and technology. He joined S&P Global in 2007. In addition to his time in the financial information services industry, Thomas spent the first decade of his career in software product development and consulting.
Thomas holds an M.B.A. with honors in finance and accounting from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.S. in physics from the University of Virginia.

He works as a Commercial Director within the S&P Global Market Intelligence, which provides multi-asset class data, research and analytics to Corporates across the African continent. He is based in the Johannesburg office supporting African Corporates with strategic decision making and has undertaken several sustainability projects on the continent. Brent is responsible for developing, managing, and deploying Market Intelligence’s Sustainability product and business strategy across the continent.
