Stephanie is an Audit & Assurance senior manager in the Sustainability & ESG Services team. Throughout a career marked by strategic leadership and innovative thinking, she has advised companies on ways to transform their dependencies on nature and biodiversity and manage risks, turning them into opportunities. As the leader for the US firm’s Nature service offering, Stephanie advises clients on ways to align their profitability with purpose, and clarifies how their relationships with land, water, forests, and biodiversity are often inextricably linked to the sustainability of their business and to their nature, climate, and social goals. Stephanie has over 12 years of experience providing advisory services relating to clients’ ESG journeys, including strategy development and materiality assessments, and in complying with global disclosure standards and regulations. In her former role as the Global Manager for the Forests and Land team for CDP, she advised companies on how to decouple deforestation from corporate supply chains. Beyond client service, Stephanie upholds her legacy of thought leadership through her involvement with the Taskforce for Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD) on considerations related to sector guidance development, and leverages her extensive experience in advising clients in their nature-related risks and opportunities management. Stephanie holds a Masters in Green Management, Energy, & Corporate Social Responsibility from Università Bocconi in Milan, Italy.

Gautier Desme is Head of Data Innovation at Sustainable1, leading the development of new datasets on environmental and climate issues, such as the development of analytics that allow investors and businesses to quantify the nature-related risks in their portfolios and operations.
Gautier Desme is Head of Data Innovation at Sustainable1, leading the development of new datasets on environmental and climate issues, such as the development of analytics that allow investors and businesses to quantify the nature-related risks in their portfolios and operations. Prior to that, Gautier served in other leadership roles, leading on sovereign carbon risk, green bonds analytics and positive impact.
Gautier started his career at Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank in London, first as a credit structurer, then in commodities derivatives structuring, where he designed investment strategies and products across energy, metals and agriculture markets. He developed and issued the first EUTS carbon note in 2010, allowing investors to benefit from arbitrage opportunities in the EU Carbon Allowance market.
Gautier holds a master’s degree in Financial Markets from University Paris Dauphine, and a master’s degree in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.
