Myrna Ghanem is the Secretary for the S&P Global Sustainable1 Investor Client Council. Myrna is a Senior ESG Client Engagement specialist working with clients to guide them through their ESG and Sustainability journey using S&P Global data. She is focused on climate and impact, particularly the SDGs, and how clients can integrate these into their workflows.
Myrna Ghanem is the Secretary for the S&P Global Sustainable1 Investor Client Council. Myrna is a Senior ESG Client Engagement specialist working with clients to guide them through their ESG and Sustainability journey using S&P Global data. She is focused on climate and impact, particularly the SDGs, and how clients can integrate these into their workflows.
Myrna has a diverse background ranging from Sociology and Economics to Music Performance and Data Analytics. She holds an MSc in International Economics and Data Analytics from NYU. She is also a member of the Female Forum and the Women in Sustainability Network. Most recently, Myrna was named a McKinsey Next Generation Women Leader in 2023.

Rick Lord is Head of Climate Methodology at S&P Global Sustainable1. In this role, Rick specializes in the developing and delivering data and tools to quantify environmental, social and governance risks to assets, projects, companies and investment portfolios. Most recently he has led the development of innovative and market leading analytics focusing on ESG issues including carbon pricing risk, alignment with the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, and climate change physical risk. Rick’s work at Trucost aims to link ESG issues to drivers of corporate and investor financial value creation, and to frame material ESG issues in the context of business strategy.
Rick holds a Masters in Environmental Economics from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s of Science from Queensland University of Technology.

Technical Support of ESG Client Engagement team
Valentina joined S&P Global Sustainable1 in 2022 and is part of the ESG Client Engagement team as a Technical Support with a specialization in Physical Risk.
Valentina joined S&P Global Sustainable1 in 2022 and is part of the ESG Client Engagement team as a Technical Support with a specialization in Physical Risk. Her role centres on assisting clients in many areas such as insurance, asset management, the real estate sector and professional services to understand physical risks associated with their investments and assets, as well as to analyse the effectiveness of adaptation measures that are commonly integrated. Valentina has comprehensive international experience in both analytical research and client-facing roles, with a particular current focus on the LATAM region.
Valentina graduated with a degree in Earth Science, and prior to her role in S&P, worked in a Research Assistant role investigating various chemical compositions of plants and soil properties of throughout the agricultural sector in Colombia. Given her background in physical risk, combined with a growing regulatory focus on nature and biodiversity, Valentina is also working closely with internal teams to build out the nature and biodiversity offerings Sustainable1 can provide to clients.
