Chris drives the strategy for S&P Global’s enterprise-wide efforts to enable market participants to incorporate sustainability and energy transition data & analytics into their decision making. He is also responsible for leading the M&A process for sustainability-related opportunities, including identifying and shortlisting acquisition and venture investment targets, along with addressing key gaps through strategic partnerships.
He was previously a Director of Index Investment Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) providing research and commentary on the entire S&P DJI product set, including U.S. and global equities, commodities, fixed income, and ESG indices. He worked directly with consumers of index products including asset managers and exchanges, and was also previously part of S&P DJI from 2014- 2016 as a Senior Analyst of Index Investment Strategy. Prior to returning to S&P DJI, Chris was a Manager in Corporate Strategy at S&P Global, where he developed and supported enterprise-wide strategic initiatives driven by external market forces and internal opportunities for operational improvements, including ESG. Before joining S&P Global, Chris was part of the Finance Leadership Development Program at Prudential Financial.
Chris attended Seton Hall University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and information technology management, graduating magna cum laude. Chris is also a CFA charter holder. Minimize
