Beyond ESG with Climate Stress Testing in APAC

Date:
Thursday, November 25, 2021
Location:
On-Demand
Duration:
1 Hour

According to the Swiss Re Institute, recent stress testing shows the world economy could lose more than 18% of current GDP by 2048 if no action on climate change is taken. The Asia economy would be 26.5% smaller while ASEAN countries could lose 37.4%*. Emerging Asia in particular has high vulnerability to physical risk.

Join S&P Global Sustainable1 for the next episode in our "Beyond ESG" webinar series as we examine climate stress testing in Asia-Pacific, including:

  • What changes need to be made and the obstacles and opportunities in making those changes
  • Challenges at both the macro and micro level
  • How asset managers, investors, and corporates prioritize physical risk within their portfolios

S&P Global Sustainable1's 'Beyond ESG' webinar series focuses on providing corporate and investors with the tools and insights they need when building and refining their ESG playbooks. Featuring interviews and discussions with experts, decision-makers, and visionaries in the ESG community, these webinars will go beyond ratings and scores to help see the possibilities in building a sustainable future while meeting the expectations of an evolving market.
