Chief Customer Experience Officer
O’Hara Macken is the Chief Customer Experience Officer for S&P Global Market Intelligence and serves as a member of the Market Intelligence Operating Committee. Prior to taking on this newly created role in 2024, O’Hara was the division’s Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining S&P Global via the acquisition of IHS Markit in 2022, O’Hara managed and led a portfolio of businesses for IHS Markit including Issuer Solutions, Economics & Country Risk, Economic Indices, and Sustainability Solutions.
Prior to IHS Markit, O'Hara was a member of the executive team at Ipreo which was acquired by IHS Markit in 2018. O'Hara has also held diverse leadership roles at Nasdaq, Thomson Financial, The Carson Group and two startups he co-launched in the fintech space. O’Hara began his career at Hewitt Associates which was later acquired by Aon.
O’Hara serves as Executive Sponsor for S&P Global’s offices in Raleigh, NC and Charlottesville, VA. O’Hara also currently serves on the Board of Directors and is a member of the Executive Committee for the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and served on the boards of the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, NC State’s Poole College of Management, and as Chair for Wake County Economic Development.
O'Hara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Fairfield University.
