Regulatory Advisor
Liliana is a Regulatory Advisor at S&P Global Ratings. She provides regulatory advice on current rules, regulatory developments and new or upcoming requirements affecting rating agencies. Prior to joining the Ratings division, Liliana was a Sr. Manager Regulatory Affairs at S&P Global Market Intelligence where she provided regulatory and compliance advice to investment advisers and other business units operating under S&P Global. Liliana currently serves as Global Vice President of Adelante, one of S&P Global’s Employee Resource Groups.
Before joining S&P Global in 2012, Liliana was a Paralegal Supervisor at The Dreyfus Corporation, the mutual fund division of The Bank of New York Mellon. She was in charge of managing a group of paralegals working in legal and compliance functions related to establishing and maintaining investment companies, including overseeing regulatory filings with the SEC and other government agencies, and coordinating and attending fund board meetings.
Prior to working in the financial industry, Liliana worked in the Telecom Industry where she managed quality control and customer service groups and she specialized in developing business relations with Telecom companies in Latin America and Europe.
Liliana was born in Bogotá, Colombia and at the age of sixteen moved with her family to New York. She is a first generation college graduate and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Investment from Baruch College and an MBA from the Bernard Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business.
