Senior Research Analyst, North American Power team
Shayne Willette is a Senior Research Analyst with the North American Power team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, focusing on western markets and short-term market fundamentals.
Shayne focuses on western electricity market dynamics and short-term market fundamentals. He has contributed to research efforts on our Short-Term Outlook, natural gas generation, renewable energy credits, coal retirements, and resource accreditation. His previous research interests include energy security and natural gas markets. Prior to joining S&P Global, Mr. Willette spent two years at Guidehouse consulting on a variety of energy-related issues ranging from distributed energy resources to the future role of hydrogen.
He holds a bachelor's degree from Oakland University and a master's degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs at George Washington University.
