Senior Country Risk Analyst, Research Advisory Specialty Solutions

Eva Renon works as a senior analyst in the country risk Africa team and specializes in political, security, and business environment risk assessment at S&P Global Market Intelligence.

She focuses on mainly CEMAC, Portuguese-speaking and Western African regions, including Benin, Cameroon, Gabon, Republic of the Congo, and Togo. Previously, Eva worked at King's College London (KCL) as a research assistant and at University College London (UCL) and Leicester University as a post-graduate teaching assistant at bachelor degree level in History of Latin America, Epistemology, Politics and Economics. She is a final-year PhD student in Political Sciences at UCL; her thesis is on industrial business associations' influence on tax reforms and regulations in Argentina, Brazil, and Colombia.

She holds an MSc in Political Economy of Emerging Markets from KCL and a BSc in Economics from the Sorbonne (Paris 1). Eva speaks French (native), Spanish (fluent), Portuguese (working proficiency), and Russian (intermediate).
