Elena joined S&P Global in June 2015 and is a Senior Economist, Energy & Mobility, based in London.

Elena joined S&P Global in June 2015 and is a Senior Economist, Energy & Mobility, based in London. She regularly authors research reports on mobility topics, and her latest research has focused on urban mobility and the battery supply chain. Elena has contributed to several research and consulting projects across IHS Markit, including the Multiclient Study Reinventing the Wheel, which analyzed the implications of changes in the automotive ecosystem on the energy industry, as well as S&P Global's work on climate-related disclosures. Since 2015, she has worked as the lead researcher for S&P Global Vice Chairman Daniel Yergin's forthcoming book on the geopolitics of energy. Elena holds a master's degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a bachelor's degree from King's College London.
