William Plampton
Associate Director, Technical Research
William Plampton is responsible for petroleum field technical analysis in the Australasia region at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
William is a geologist who joined S&P Global in January 2014 after graduating from university in 2013. He is based in our Tetbury office and is currently in charge of petroleum field technical analysis for Western Australia and New Zealand. William has presented and been published at several key industry events.
William holds a BSc and MSc in Petroleum Geoscience from Royal Holloway, University of London. Specific interests include structural and sedimentological evolution of basins and the impact on petroleum system development.
