Sergio Pedraza is an emissions researcher for the International Upstream Emissions team at S&P Commodity Insights.

Sergio is an emissions researcher at S&P Global Commodity Insights. Based in Geneva, Sergio specializes in the research, analysis and modeling of greenhouse gas emissions for upstream oil and gas assets in Europe. Before joining S&P Global, Sergio was a senior reservoir engineer consultant and project manager, working for Beicip-Franlab SA, Schlumberger Ltd. and Ad Terra Energy SA, as well as an independent consultant in the upstream industry.

Sergio has work experience across multiple geographies, and holds a Bachelor of Science in geophysical engineering from Simón Bolívar University, Venezuela; a Master of Science in reservoir geoscience and engineering from IFP School, France and a Master of Business Administration from IE Business School, Spain.
