Gabriela Maximov

Gabriela Maximov is a Senior Technical Researcher for the upstream intelligence group at S&P Global Commodity Insights responsible for the editorial content for Morocco.

Gabriela joined S&P Global in January 2013 as a Technical Research Analyst working in the Upstream Africa Regional Team. Currently she is responsible for the GEPS upstream content in Morocco. In addition to her editorial role, she oversees the Fields database for several Saharan Africa countries including Mauritania, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Gambia, and Burkina Faso.

During her tenure at S&P Global, Gabriela has held various roles including contract researcher in the Africa Team during which she gained important knowledge in oil and gas legislation in North African countries.

Currently based in Geneva, Switzerland, Gabriela holds a BSc in Geology from the University of Bucharest, Romania.
