Thomas Matheson

Thomas Matheson is an Executive Director and Global Head of Dividend Forecasting at S&P Global Market Intelligence.

Dividend Forecasting provides independent forecasts of the size and timing of dividend payments to help financial institutions to make pricing and investment decisions. Thomas leads the Dividend Forecasting business, and his responsibilities include product strategy, new product development and global team management. 

Thomas has more than fifteen years of experience at S&P Global (previously IHS Markit) and has a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative new solutions, including the use of dividend forecasting in smart-beta indices and implementing a data science forecasting model. An expert commentator, Thomas is experienced speaking with financial media and at industry events.

Thomas graduated from the University of Exeter, UK, where he studied Business Economics.
