David Manuel

David specializes in the Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV) covering the Middle East and the Caspian markets for Petrodata MarineBase.

Based in Dubai, he tracks regional market developments providing news, insights, and analysis. David joined the Petrodata team in 2012 as part of regional data specialists based in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Aberdeen, Houston, South Africa, and Latin America. He writes monthly market commentary and analysis for the Offshore Marine Monthly (OMM) and the Global Supply Vessel Forecast (GSVF).

David holds a BA in Mass Communications with a major in Journalism from the University of St. La Salle in the Philippines. He has reported and written for reputed oil & gas trade publications in the UAE over the last 15 years. He is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Data Science.
