Luis Pereira is a Senior Product Specialist within our QUE$TOR Regional Operations team at S&P Global Commodity Insights
Luis has over 14 years' of experience working in the upstream oil and gas industry and specialises in field development engineering, capital and operating costs modelling for energy projects, and is responsible for tracking oilfield equipment and services markets, cost data gathering and providing analysis on cost changes.
In his current role, Luis is responsible for developing and maintaining the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions report and estimating GHG emissions from oil and gas field developments. Luis also supports QUE$TOR development by introducing new capabilities that are used in the upstream oil and gas industry, enhancing the programs engineering features, providing support on technical queries, product demonstrations and training, and working on ad-hoc cost engineering projects.
Luis holds an MSc in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK and a BSc in Geotechnical Engineering from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, Portugal.
