Dr. Claus joined the Ratzeburg, Germany-based F.O. Licht team- part of the IHS Markit (Now part of S&P Global) family since mid-2019 - in early 2006. As a Senior Commodity Analyst, he follows bioenergy and the respective feedstock markets (starch, oil and sugar crops as well as waste/by-product streams) and also has expertise in the animal feed segment. He is an editor of several regular publications within the team's portfolio and also responsible for the bioenergy and feed section in Licht Interactive Data.
He holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from Kiel University in Germany and a Master's degree in economics from the University of Cologne, also Germany.
