Emilio Intrieri

Dr. Emilio Intrieri, Associate Director working with our Southeast Asia regional team within upstream content at S&P Global Commodity Insights.
Dr. Emilio reports on upstream activities in the region, particularly about Bangladesh, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand and the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (MTJDA). Dr. Emilio also covers field research across the region, with primary focus on Indonesia, Bangladesh and Myanmar. He joined IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) in 2009 and has a deep knowledge of the S&P Global International oil and gas database.
Dr. Emilio holds an MSc in Geology and a PhD in Earth Science (Micropaleontology) from the University of Florence in Italy. He is a member of the South East Asia Petroleum Exploration Society.
