Vasu is a natural gas and LNG research analyst with the Climate and Sustainability team at S&P Global Commodity Insights. In this role, He focuses on the analysis of gas and LNG markets in South Asia. Prior to joining S&P Global, he was a senior business analyst for the Market and Competitive Intelligence team at Evalueserve, Gurgaon, India. He has more than five years of experience working with LNG producers, national oil companies, and natural gas utilities on various strategic and consulting projects supporting C-level executives, LNG marketers, and traders. His expertise includes the LNG value chain, short-term pricing analysis, supply/demand modelling, competitive benchmarking, LNG contract expiry analysis, new markets and new partner identification solutions, trade opportunity forecasting, netback analysis, and arbitrage modelling.

Vasu holds a bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of Delhi and an MBA from Delhi State University.
