He is the Director of Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture at IHS Markit's (now part of S&P Global) supporting the Maritime and Trade product offerings and directing future products with his expertise. Before joining S&P he was heading the Vessel Performance Decarbonization and Insights team of Maersk Tankers navigating the decarbonization strategy for its commercial pool. He comes with a decade of experience in shipping and ship design sector, A subject matter expert in the maritime industry focusing on sustainability and decarbonization.

Jabez holds a specialization degree in Naval Architecture and Offshore Engineering from AMET, India and an executive professional development certification in Data Analytics from IIM Rohtak. Also, he holds professional memberships and recognitions with Royal Institute of Naval Architects (RINA, UK) and Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME, US)
