Alessandro Bacci is a senior petroleum legal analyst within the Petroleum Economics and Policy Solutions (PEPS) team, part of the S&P Global Commodity Insights E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk team.

Alessandro is a senior petroleum legal analyst within the Petroleum Economics and Policy Solutions (PEPS) team, part of the S&P Global Commodity Insights E&P Terms and Above-Ground Risk team. Based in London, he monitors legal/regulatory and fiscal developments relevant to the petroleum industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). In addition, he assists with consulting projects requiring expertise in petroleum legal/regulatory and fiscal expertise.

Alessandro has a background as upstream fiscal analyst on a global scale and petroleum legal/regulatory and fiscal consultant primarily in relation to the MENA. He holds an LLB and LLM from the University of Florence, Italy; an MPA from Sciences Po, France; an MPP from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (NUS, Singapore); and an MSc in Taxation from the University of Oxford (Harris Manchester College, UK). Alessandro is a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
