Mariana Anjos is a principal research analyst with the Latin America Gas Power & Climate Solutions/Climate and Sustainability at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Mariana is an expert at developing fundamentals-based supply, demand, and price forecasts and an understanding of the associated risks. Mariana focuses on cost, technology and gas policies for Latin America. With large experience in the oil and gas segment, her research involves upstream costs and technology, as well as planning and control, programming, modeling, renewable energy, engineering and consulting. Prior to joining S&P Global (now part of S&P Global), she worked at Petrobras and Doris Engineering, where she developed projects including front-end engineering and design for the presalt platforms and risk analysis for oil and gas enterprises.

Mariana holds a bachelor's degree from the Fluminense Federal University, Brazil, a specialization in oil and gas supply chain from Brazilian Petroleum Institute, and an MBA in corporate finance.
