Ding Li Ang is the Head of Research (APAC), Head of Engineering and Fabrication at S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Ding Li, director, co-manages the Costs and Technology Global Supply Chain Group comprising the Engineering and Fabrication, Subsea and Capital Equipment, Offshore Vessels and Services, Offshore Wind, Onshore Materials and Services, Rigs Markets, Decommissioning and Carbon Capture and Storage capabilities. He also manages the Costs and Technology business in Asia Pacific. In the research space, Ding Li specializes in the EPC of offshore facilities. In the past decade, Ding Li has supported energy companies in assessing offshore shipyard capability, identifying related supply chain risks as well as consulting on project execution and costs control strategies for offshore EPC projects worldwide. In addition, Ding Li has also served on the expert panels for offshore and marine industry policy review exercises and contributed to the business strategy of offshore and marine companies. Prior to joining IHS Markit (Now part of S&P Global) in 2010, Ding Li was a research manager, specializing in petroleum economics.

Earlier in his career, he was an investment analyst at a corporate finance firm, evaluating the economics of natural resource development projects. Ding Li is based in Singapore. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Naval Architects.
