Senior Economist, Global Trade Forecasting, Maritime, Trade & Supply Chain
Krzysztof Ziolkowski, Ph.D., is Senior Economist in Global Trade Forecasting at S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Krzysztof is a senior economist in the GTAS Forecasting team, where he contributes to developing econometric models for trade forecasts. Krzysztof is also responsible for delivering part of the quarterly 'Trends in the World Economy and Trade' report. He specializes in economics, econometrics and databases using the latest data science technology.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Krzysztof worked more than decade for one of the leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider where he created financial/statistical models. His last position was Snowflake Admin & BI Developer. Krzysztof's work experience includes both corporate and academic background. He was visiting lecturer in Dresden, Berlin, Emden/Leer and Genoa. Recently Krzysztof is a Head of Postgraduate Studies in field Big Data, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning. His research field is economics, trade & econometrics. He supervised more than 400 students (incl. BA, MA, PgDip).
A graduate of Kiel University of Applied Sciences and the University of Gdańsk (MSc, Ph.D.). Additionally, he completed postgraduate studies in Statistics and Financial Mathematics at the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics of the Gdańsk University of Technology.
