Lei Zeng is a Principal Analyst of Specialty Chemical at S&P Global Commodity Insights in the Shanghai office.

Lei authors the Chinese sections of a broad range of reports for the Chemical Economics Handbook (CEH) and the Specialty Chemicals Update Program (SCUP). Her professional expertise includes research and analysis of capacity projects, supply/demand developments, market trends, and end-use markets as well as market forecasts for nutrition and renewable products. She joined IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) Chemical in September, 2014 and before S&P Global, she had more than nine years working experience in food industry.

Lei received her master's degree in food science from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
