Baihui Yu

Baihui Yu is a consultant in the Upstream Oil & Gas Consulting team at S&P Global Commodity Insights, focusing on Asia Pacific region, based in Beijing, China.

Baihui has advised a wide variety of clients including national and international oil companies as well as governments in the Asia Pacific region. Since joining S&P Global, Baihui has executed and delivered projects that encompasses entry strategies, asset portfolio strategies, due diligence valuations, upstream benchmarking, field development planning, etc. Prior to joining S&P Global, she was a research editor in CNPC, carrying out analysis on the oil and gas industry in China while was also in charge of project/subject planning and news coverage.

Baihui holds a master's degrees of Oil and Gas Field Development Engineering, and dual bachelor's degrees in both Petroleum Engineering and English Language from China University of Petroleum. She is a member of Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and has delivered papers in several industry conferences. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
