Shan Xue focuses on Asian power market modeling, S&P Global Commodity Insights.

Ms. Xue's main research focus includes coal and power supply and demand fundamentals analysis, energy intensity analysis, long-term provincial coal and power supply and demand modeling, and Chinese energy company profiles. She also participates in consulting works on Chinese coal and power markets. Prior to joining S&P Global, Ms. Xue was a research consultant at Azure International, where she managed various consulting and research engagements on clean energy development in China. Previously, she worked as an analyst for a clean automotive technology firm in Beijing. Ms. Xue holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Beijing University of Technology and a Master of Science degree from Ohio State University. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English.
