Dr. Liliana Viciu is a research and analysis associate director of Specialty Chemicals at , S&P Global Commodity Insights, focused on renewables and nutrition.
She joined IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global) in July 2016 bringing with her more than 11 years of advanced chemical knowledge. Her role involves market research and analysis, market evaluation, tracking trends and market forecasts in the field of Renewables & Nutrition within EMEA. Before joining S&P Global, Dr. Liliana worked for 9 years as a researcher and lecturer at ETH Zurich on new materials with interesting properties; she was involved with new materials discovery, structure and magnetic data modelling and interpretation, and held lectures on structure-properties relationship in materials.
Dr. Liliana's education includes a bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in chemistry from University of Bucharest, Romania, and an inorganic/material science doctorate from University of New Orleans, USA.
