VP, Head of Solutions Sales
Jennifer Theiss is global head of sales for S&P Global Market Intelligence's private markets business.
Jennifer oversees the client development sales team for private markets software and managed data services. Her team focuses on four main customer segments, including venture capital, private equity, private credit and limited partners. Prior to Private Markets, she managed the Equities Data & Analytics sales team, which included Research Signals, Securities Finance, ETF and Index Data, Dividend Forecasting and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA). In addition, the team is involved in regulatory initiatives, such as MiFID II best execution and RTS28 reporting, as well as securities finance transaction reporting. Jennifer has held S&P Global roles in New York, London, as well as Boulder, Colorado. She joined S&P Global (now part of S&P Global) in 2008 as business development manager for a suite of products within equities business, including Broker Voting, Commission Management and Research Management. She also has led an account management team that focused on cross-product initiatives, including Information, Processing and Solutions services with buy-side and sell-side firms. Prior to S&P Global, she was at Goldman Sachs and was responsible for equity research sales with Goldman's buy-side customer base.
Jennifer earned a bachelor's degree in finance and international studies from Boston College and an MBA from New York University, both United States.
