L Madhuri has worked as a research analyst on the Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre (JTIC) team since 2014.

L Madhuri is responsible for providing detailed and updated open source analysis on terrorism and insurgency incidents happening worldwide and publishes them in the Jane's Terrorism & Insurgency Centre (JTIC) database. She has experience writing about the terrorist events in bulletins that in the JTIC database for publication. She has training in writing an Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) articles. Previously, she worked as a research scholar at Centre for Air Power Studies (CAPS) in New Delhi, India for two months in 2012.

L Madhuri holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Mount Carmel College - Bangalore and an Master of Science in geopolitics and international relations from Manipal University, both in India.

The areas of research interest during her master's degree studies included "Water War," a case study of China - India dispute on River Brahmaputra, India's relations with the South East Asian nations with an emphasis on India's Look East Policy, India's Soft Power Diplomacy, India's North Eastern states as a gateway to South East Asain countries. She speaks English, Hindi, Manipuri, Assamese and Bengali.
